Another way that you can save money is to hit up restaurants for happy hour. Typically, restaurants will have deals from about 2 to 5 pm (when it's past lunch and before dinner) on things like appetizers, some meals, and even alcoholic beverages. Although you may have to get to the restaurant a lot earlier than you normally would, it could definitely save you a lot of money. Some restaurants will even keep their happy hour pricing as long as you are seated by 5, which means that you can actually wait until 5:30 to start eating. 

Daily Specials

Check out the daily specials at some of your favorite restaurants. Then, if they sell your favorite food as a daily special on one of the days, you can go on that day and get the food. Typically, daily specials will be an entire meal rather than just a la carte which is great because it will give you a lot more food. Also, other restaurants will include things like a drink or dessert if you order the daily special, which is another fun incentive for you. 

When you eat out at a restaurant, you can end up spending a lot of money, but if you keep these things in mind, you may also save a lot as well. One thing to keep in mind is drinks. Although alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverage pair well with food, they can add up and make your bill go through the roof. Instead, consider making cocktails at your house before or after you eat so that you don't spend the extra cash.
